Project Manager - Weapons Systems - SECRET Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Manager - Weapons Systems to join a Federal Program located at Eglin AFB, FL. The Project Manager - Weapons Systems will be responsible for supporting the planning and coordination in the resolution of engineering and program management challenges associated with the management, development, integration, and qualification of a Navy BRU-61C/A and its integration with SDB II for F/A-18E/F, F-35B and F-35C.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager - Weapons Systems:

• Successful management of project tasks and coordination of employees in various labor categories and with various skills in projects of similar size and scope
• Oversee and evaluate technical development, review, and approval of Engineering Change Proposals.
• Provide program management support and test planning support for all integration activities.
• Responsible to the Program Manager and DoN Lead Engineer for maintaining systems engineering integrity and discipline across the spectrum of technical activities.
• Plan and execute technical reviews and assessments according to entrance/exit criteria (e.g., System Requirements Review, design reviews, requirements compliance assessment). Assure program meets statutory and regulatory guidance.

Qualifications of the Project Manager - Weapons Systems:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an U.S. Government Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with NAVAIR or the Air Force
• Experience with Weapons Systems Integration Engineering
• Experience with Project Management

Compensation for the Project Manager - Weapons Systems:

• Salary Range: $140,000+ flexible based on experience
