Who You Are: A passionate and self-motivated designer with an affinity for the urban scale and how our work impacts cities Drawn to the big-picture process of shaping environments while understanding the art of constructing buildings Skilled at transforming research into innovative and thoughtful design Thrive in the early stages of design but also understand how to carry ideas through to implementation Graphically savvy your software expertise strengthens the communication of ideas Able to work independently and lead small teams to deliver high-quality outcomes What you'll do: Design & Visualization Create urban design concepts and clearly communicate them to teams, consultants, and clients Develop diagrams, infographics, plans, sections, and presentation materials to support compelling narratives Use advanced visualization tools and techniques to enhance storytelling and design clarity Support community engagement efforts, including preparing materials and participating at workshops or community meetings Contribute to strategic planning and visioning documents, including master plans, design guidelines, or development frameworks Research & Analysis Conduct precedent and contextual research to inform massing, program, and site strategy Utilize GIS and analytical tools to evaluate context, explore options, and inform design direction Research and interpret zoning codes, regulations, and site constraints to guide concept development Analyze policy and planning frameworks to identify design opportunities and constraints Sustainability & Innovation Collaborate on sustainability-focused design strategies and explore environmentally responsive solutions Integrate smart city principles and emerging technologies into project approaches Process & Execution Support the full project lifecyclefrom early visioning and site analysis through documentation and delivery Participate in internal, consultant, and client-facing coordination and design presentations Work closely with project leadership to ensure quality, timeliness, and alignment with design goals Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Landscape or Urban Design; Graduate degree is preferred Strong portfolio of work, across a range of project types and geographies Experience in the Middle East region is preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and AutoCAD Familiarity with Grasshopper, Enscape, and GIS tools is a plus
