People Ready Skilled Trades now has an office in Columbus and is ready to hire! We are looking for Construction Trade People for projects in Ohio Indiana, Illinois and the surrounding areas.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $25 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Assist carpenter
• Know very basic construction/carpentry
• Know how to measure and prep for painting
• Material handling
• Remove debris and place into dumpster
• Site cleanup
• Work almost exclusively in the Normal/Bloomington area
• Temp to hire only interested
• NO Heavy Equipment
• NO company vehicle
• PARKING: on-site
• TOOLS: Hand tools

Qualifications:

• We're looking for hardworking Carpenters for 1st shift positions.
• Perform various construction tasks, and maintain a clean and safe work site.
• Physical stamina, basic construction knowledge, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
