Material Handler General Laborer (1st Shift)

Job Title: Material Handler
Pay: $17.50
Schedule: 1st

Job Summary: This position is responsible for safely and accurately handling, storing, and distributing materials, products, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, receive and check shipments, and move materials and products within the warehouse.

2. Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as necessary. Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working condition.

3. Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.

4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, and actively promote a safe working environment.

5. Teamwork: Maintain good communication and work in a team-oriented environment.

6. Product Knowledge: Gain knowledge of the products being handled, including their packaging and handling requirements.
