Our client, a leader in facility management, is seeking a Building Engineer (HVAC Tech) to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Engineer (HVAC Tech)

Location: Charleston, SC

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Travel between multiple facilities to monitor and maintain equipment functionality (company vehicle provided)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and manage inventory control for facility services.
  • Inspect, calibrate, and clean HVAC systems to maintain performance levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe workplace.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • EPA 608 Type II Certification.
  • Valid driver's license and working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
