We are actively seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join our Lloydminster Thermal team. Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Lead, the Maintenance Scheduler Lloydminster Thermal will be responsible for detailed scheduling, ensuring that maintenance activities are efficiently planned, scheduled, and executed to minimize downtime and maintain regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will uphold high-quality standards and possess familiarity with an Enterprise Asset Management System. They will be an effective communicator with the ability to build strong, positive relationships across multiple business units.
Essential Functions:
Support a strong safety culture by following health, safety and environmental standards and contribute to meeting our shared safety and reliability goals.
Work in alignment with Strathconas policies and procedures including Management of Change (MOC) and established maintenance processes.
Develop and maintain weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for field and facility operations.
Lead regular scheduling meetings, collaborating closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
Prioritize and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work orders across multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc).
Aligning maintenance activities with production demands, HSE requirements, and operational priorities, ensuring minimal impact to facility uptime.
Respond to break-in work and adjust schedules as needed. Communicate changes clearly and efficiently to all stakeholders.
Assist in planning and coordinating minor turnarounds, shutdowns, and contractor work to avoid delays and maximize efficiency.
Maintain accurate system data by updating work order statuses, close-out notes, and historical records in the CMMS.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a willingness to learn.
Previous experience in maintenance scheduling or coordination preferably in oil and gas or a heavy industrial setting.
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (eg. Maximo, SAP)
Experience with scheduling software, Prometheus Scheduler or equivalent is considered an asset
Proficient with Microsoft office products such as Word & Excel
Possess a valid Class 5 drivers licence and a clean driving record
