Victoria is now hiring for Building Inspector I

Under limited supervision, responsible for providing the review of construction plans for issuance of permits, perform inspections, investigate complaints of code violations and assist building official as required. Apply working knowledge of all state construction codes and city ordinances to ensure code compliance through increased awareness and understanding of the intent and purpose of the codes and ordinances. This position involves significant contact with the public, contractors, answering questions, responding to calls, emails, and writing reports. Hiring range dependent on qualifications.
