Licensed Land Surveyor Needed!

About the Role:

We are seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor to join our engineering team! This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in surveying for engineering projects, land development, and construction. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license and have a strong background in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys to support engineering projects.
• Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and drone technology.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate survey data.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
• Oversee and mentor junior survey staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience in an engineering or construction setting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS, and GIS software.
• Strong knowledge of land laws, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and project management abilities.
