Location: Waukesha, WI (Onsite only)

Pay Range - $39 - $42

Introduction:

The team developing industry leading X-ray tubes for clinical applications is looking for highly motivated Mechanical Engineers to join them to enhance the quality & performance of X-ray tubes.

Mechanical Engineer will be working on fixture design and testing of X-ray tube sub-assemblies to enhance robustness and performance.

Job Description:

• Mechanical design utilizing Creo / Windchill.
• Simulation / analysis (Creo / Ansys FEA, stack up analysis) and testing in the lab.
• Design optimization & improvement for reducing cost, increasing yield and enhancing performance & reliability.
• Engineering Change control
• Rapid prototyping
• Design verification. Experience in Medical systems / Mechanical engineering industry
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
• Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Hardware engineering areas
• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and in teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Tools/Technologies

• Experience with 3D CAD System, CREO/Windchill
• Familiarity with engineering analysis & simulation tools like Ansys
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (with a focus on hardware)
