Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will have operational responsibility for the day-to-day development of new designs and modifications to existing products. This role requires experience and the ability to analyze and draw conclusions, focusing on specific technical areas.
Responsibilities
- Designing CH EV structure components.
- Ensuring new designs meet business targets and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature requirements.
- Front-loading work to ensure robust early-stage releases and stable late-stage releases.
- Releasing components to resolve maintenance issues or secure project deliveries.
- Assisting engineers in developing modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.
- Managing deliveries with minimal support from the component engineer.
Essential Skills
- 10+ years of experience with PTC CREO (flexible for candidates with direct experience).
- Proficiency in design, mechanical engineering, and new product development.
- Experience in conceptual design, new product design, chassis, structural, and front-end design.
- Experience in automotive, truck, and heavy equipment engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to brainstorm and develop new designs in the early stages of projects.
Work Environment
The work environment involves cross-functional collaboration, requiring creativity and technical expertise in the early stages of design projects. The role primarily focuses on the automotive and heavy equipment sectors, utilizing advanced design tools and methodologies.E
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $49.00/hr.
