Carpenter's Assistant/Laborer Responsibilities: -Operate a variety of hand and power tools including saws, drills, and other equipment. -Assist carpenters and other tradespeople on-site with various tasks. i.e. (door hanging, plastering, caulking, and other remodeling duties as needed.) -Restore structures to their original condition or make necessary repairs. -Listen to the lead carpenter & be willing to learn. Skills: -Experience in construction or related field preferred. -Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. -Ability to operate equipment following appropriate safety guidelines. -Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and general construction techniques preferred. -Physical strength and stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks.
