Concrete Carpenter Job Description: Join our dynamic team on a Denver Water-funded project at the historic Eleven Mile Reservoir. Completed in 1932, this reservoir rises 135 feet above the South Platte riverbed and spans 6 miles, making it the second largest in Denver Water's system. As a Concrete Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in form setting, contributing to the development of one of the largest bodies of water east of the Continental Divide. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently set concrete forms. Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project specifications are met. Utilize various hand and power tools to complete formwork tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise formwork installations. Participate in concrete pours and flatwork construction. Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the project. Essential Skills: Proven experience in concrete construction and formwork. Expertise in carpentry and handling rebar. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience with concrete finishing and flatwork. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of precast concrete techniques. Experience in commercial construction settings. Work Environment: This role is based in an outdoor construction environment at Eleven Mile Reservoir. The work involves operating various hand and power tools and requires physical exertion. The dress code is suitable for outdoor construction activities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
