Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are:
- general fabrication
- MIG, TIG, and occasional stick welding
- lay-out work
- fitting parts
- repair work
- Examine and interpret blueprints/schematics to ensure components are made correctly
- Fabricate miscellaneous heat treat equipment and parts
- Work closely with engineers to ensure accuracy and prevent errors
- Operate equipment such as: saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, fork lifts, scissors lifts, and overhead cranes
- Perform stainless steel welding and fabrication and pipe fitting/pipe welding
