Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is needed in Cusseta, Alabama.

Coordinate mechanical design and engineering development of automotive parts and necessary mechanical equipment for the manufacturing process.
Develop mechanical engineering design specifications for automobile air intake systems, canister systems and related components.
Analyze design requirements of automotive parts based on mechanical engineering principles and provide cost estimates for manufacturing.
Evaluate engineering design and performance specification to ensure proper mechanical engineering solution.
Finalize engineering specification of automotive parts product design in accordance with feasibility, function, safety, and budget constraints through engineering evaluation process.
Confer with engineers from clients to finalize engineering specification during the design development process.
Coordinate with production department, quality department, and materials department to ensure improvement in sourcing and manufacturing process.

Job Requirements:
Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
