Senior Electrical Engineer

We re looking for a highly experienced and technically driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and serve as a key technical interface between our product and its users. In this role, you ll work closely with customers and internal teams to help shape the future of cutting-edge PCB automation technology. This is a unique opportunity to apply your deep hardware design expertise in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a customer-facing product engineer , guiding users through advanced PCB automation tools and maximizing their value.
• Work closely with a community of electrical engineers to gather product feedback, identify pain points, and influence the product roadmap.
• Participate in and support the product development lifecycle , offering real-world insight to engineering and design teams.
• Design, review, and validate complex PCB systems such as motherboards, AI accelerators, and self-driving computing platforms.
• Act as a bridge between customer requirements and internal development teams, ensuring successful implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and machine learning , to improve core functionality.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with clients , offering guidance and expertise in critical engagements.

Qualifications:

• 7 12 years of hands-on experience designing and building complex PCBs.
• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering from a top-tier institution (MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, CMU, Caltech, UIUC, etc.); a Master s degree is a strong plus .
• Proven experience designing 50 100+ high-complexity board builds , including high-speed memory interfaces, FPGAs, power systems, and networking components.
• Prior roles at the Senior, Principal, or Lead Engineer level within hardware or electronics teams.
• Expertise with tools such as Altium Designer and Cadence .
• Deep technical proficiency in at least one of the following: high-speed digital design, RF design, or high-power board design .
• Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles capable of presenting technical content clearly and effectively.
• Background in both large-scale corporate environments and early-stage startups is ideal.
• Startup experience is required , particularly from venture-backed companies (e.g., SpaceX, Tesla, Anduril, Zipline, Skydio, Rigetti).
• Demonstrated career longevity and upward growth (average of 2+ years per role).
