Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stamping Operator for the Midway area! Candidates must be able to train on 1st shift ($17/hr), then transfer to 2nd shift ($17.50/hr) once training period is complete.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various manufacturing processes. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. The Operator will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Set up and adjust tooling for milling machines to ensure precision in production.

Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.

Employ precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Use hand tools effectively for assembly and adjustments as needed.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience:

Proven experience in operating sheet metal fabrication equipment is preferred.

Familiarity with laser cutting, CNC machining, tooling, and milling machines is highly desirable.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.

Ability to operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely is essential.

Proficiency in using hand tools for various manufacturing tasks is required.
