Summary
W e’re looking for a proactive Project Manager to support our Solutions Division across all phases of project execution—Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Turnover to Operations. This entry- to intermediate-level role plays a key part in aligning work packages using Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), a best practice of the Construction Industry Institute (CII), to support a constraint-free, efficient project environment. You’ll help manage project data and documentation, improve workflows across EPC and EPCM models, and use tools like Bluebeam, Navisworks, Power BI, SharePoint, and Business Central to streamline collaboration and insights. As the primary contact for customers on scheduling, equipment, and deliverables, you’ll oversee specific project sections assigned by the Manager. Your work will contribute to seamless handoffs to Operations and overall project success.
Requirements will include passing pre-employment and periodic screenings, such as background checks and drug or alcohol testing.
Some of the work you will do:
- Engineering : Liaise with engineering teams to validate design specifications, review drawings, and resolve technical queries through Requests for Information (RFIs) using tools like Bluebeam, ensuring EWPs align with the PoC and maintaining accurate data and documentation for EPC/EPCM workflows.
- Procurement : Oversee procurement processes, preparing purchase requisitions in ERP systems (e.g., Business Central) and collaborating with the purchasing group to ensure PWPs deliver materials and equipment in sequence with the PoC, while managing procurement data to support streamlined EPC/EPCM delivery.
- Construction : Monitor construction progress at job sites, coordinating with contractors and clients to execute CWPs, manage schedules, and address change order requests, using Navisworks for model coordination and maintaining a constraint-free work environment with optimized documentation workflows.
- Commissioning : Support commissioning activities by verifying system performance, facilitating client approvals, and ensuring equipment meets contractual requirements, leveraging AWP, standardized documentation, and Power BI dashboards to ensure EPC/EPCM compliance.
- Project Turnover : Prepare comprehensive turnover documentation and coordinate with operations teams to ensure a successful project closeout to Operations and Maintenance, incorporating AWP-driven data, EPC/EPCM documentation standards, and SharePoint-hosted files for operational readiness.
- Set up and maintain Project Log documents, including invoicing schedules, in ERP systems and SharePoint, ensuring compliance with ISO procedures, AWP best practices, and EPC/EPCM documentation requirements.
- Monitor project financials monthly using ERP systems and Power BI dashboards, maintaining budgets and margins for assigned job sections and preparing updated job price review sheets, integrating financial data into project management systems.
- Review and approve submittals to clients using collaboration tools like Bluebeam, generating change order requests as needed, ensuring documentation accuracy and traceability.
- Inspect or oversee inspection of buyouts and main equipment to ensure quality and compliance with AWP-aligned specifications and EPC/EPCM standards, referencing Navisworks models as needed.
- Serve as the lead contact for customers, managing job section schedules, requirements, and shipments in alignment with the PoC and EPC/EPCM workflows, using SharePoint for file access.
- Maintain project manager checklists for a moderate number of job sections and prepare job review materials, integrating AWP metrics, EPC/EPCM data, and Power BI insights for progress tracking and reporting.
- Proactively manage competing priorities, driving projects to completion with a focus on quality, efficiency, and AWP-driven predictability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and monitor the PoC during early planning, ensuring alignment of engineering, procurement, and construction activities to support field execution in EPC/EPCM models.
- Support the management of project data by utilizing project management software, ERP systems, and SharePoint to ensure accurate, accessible, and up-to-date records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to improving workflow procedures by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardize processes, and integrate best practices in EPC and EPCM project delivery, leveraging tools like Bluebeam and Navisworks.
- Analyze project data via Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights, supporting decision-making and performance tracking across the project lifecycle.
