Do you take pride in craftsmanship and enjoy seeing a job through from start to finish? 4c Builds is looking for a Lead Carpenter to join our team and help us deliver outstanding residential remodels and ground-up construction projects across the Flathead Valley.

At 4c Builds, we specialize in residential construction, everything from custom home builds to full-scale remodels. Based in Kalispell, we serve clients across the valley, including Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Bigfork. As a Lead Carpenter, you'll be a hands-on team leader responsible for executing high-quality work on-site while managing a small crew. You'll need to be a strong communicator, problem-solver, and builder with the ability to take a project from framing to finish.

What You'll Do:
Lead and manage on-site construction activities for residential projects
Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Perform high-quality carpentry tasks including framing, trim, cabinetry, and more
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Ensure timelines and budgets are met
Provide mentorship and training to junior carpenters and laborers

What We're Looking For:
5 or more years of residential carpentry experience, with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership role
Proficiency in all phases of residential construction
Ability to manage and mentor a small crew effectively
Strong understanding of job site safety and compliance
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (required)
Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Flathead Valley

Compensation:
Full-time position
Competitive hourly rate at $35 to $45, based on experience and skill level
