Are you a person who doesn't settle for getting the job done, but rather strives to get it done well? Kalamazoo Valley Community College is seeking a part time HVAC Lab Technician. This position is responsible for assisting the lab manager in keeping the shops clean and orderly. Duties include sweeping, mopping and scrubbing lab floors; dusting and cleaning equipment and other related duties. This position will also assist in other technical trades areas of the college such as Auto, Electrical and Construction.
Position will also assist instructors in preparing labs and assisting students in lab activities as well as enforcing safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Candidates must be reliable and have a flexible work schedule.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Driver's License is preferred.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs; bending, stooping and standing for extended periods of time.
