Electrical Technician

Under the direction of the Utility Manager, the Electrical Technician performs electrical wiring, assembly, and installation of purchased components on industrial ovens. We do not expect an applicant to have all the necessary skils, we are committed to on-the-job training for the right individual!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

• Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.

• Perform electrical wiring and assembly.

• Perform gas, water, and air assembly.

• Thread piping, bend conduit, and assemble, as needed.

• Develop working relationships with Engineering and other departments to address and resolve issues.

• Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.

• Occasionally travel to customer sites to install On Oven Utilities.

• Comply with all housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Complete special projects, as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• High School Degree or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience

• Lean Manufacturing experience

• Ability to read tape measures, basic math

• Blueprint reading skills a plus
