Honeywell International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Building Automation Technician to join our Building Automation team in Lake Success, NY. This union position plays a key role in delivering advanced building automation solutions using Honeywell and Tridium (Niagara) platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) using Honeywell and Tridium platforms
- Map system points, develop system graphics, and configure front-end stations
- Interpret and implement sequence of operations
- Work with protocols including BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, and HTML; Java is a plus
- Commission and start up BAS systems
- Interpret project plans, schematics, and design documents
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure timely, successful installations
The compensation range for this position is $39- $52 per hour. The actual compensation offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the building automation field
- 3 years of experience working with Niagara Tridium (N4) preferred
- Strong knowledge of DDC controls and system protocols
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and controls
- Familiarity with platforms such as Honeywell, JCI, Andover, and Tridium preferred
- Background in HVAC, electrical, or electronics strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Customer-focused, self-motivated team player
- Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting building automation systems
