Summary: Summary: Responsible for installing metal roofing, coping, trims, and other metal roofing products on commercial and residential buildings. Work collaboratively with the flat-roofing department and/or metal panel department as needed.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Installation of metal roofs-primarily standing seam, copings, caps, trims, flashings, and occasional sheet metal facia and chimney hoods.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts, roofing trim & flashings
• Conduct work from heights and elevated platforms- boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolding, etc.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Travel and work at various job sites as needed
• Assist in the shop or in other departments as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience with exterior sheet metal roofing
• Has reliable transportation- able to commute to various job sites in the surrounding area
• Very comfortable working from heights and outdoors year-round
