Salary Range: $22 to $26 an hour

Description:

We are looking for an experienced industrial painter to join our client's team on a long term contract basis. Laid off right now? We can help you make more money than unemployment can pay you!! This is a 2nd shift position but does require training on 1st shift. Apply today!!

Preparing surfaces: This involves cleaning, sanding, and sometimes blasting metal surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. Taping off areas that do not receive the paint during the painting process.

Applying paint: Using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, apply paint to metal parts, ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish.

Inspecting finished products: Check the quality of work, ensuring that the paint job meets specifications and that there are no defects. Follow job ticket instructions to complete tasks.

Maintaining equipment: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining their painting equipment, including spray guns and paint booths.

Following safety procedures: Must adhere to safety guidelines to protect themselves and others.

Moving parts around the shop using forklifts or other equipment.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am, overtime as needed on Fridays and Saturdays

*Must be able to train on 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

Requirements:

One year of painting experience required. Experience with an airless paint system preferred.

Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality, raw materials and other techniques, methods and tools involved in the process of painting.

Ability to read and comprehend documents including technical information and blueprints required.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Sitting or standing for periods of time; walking, climbing, crawling, bending, twisting or stooping; may be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations if stepping into a manufacturing area; could be exposed to heat or humidity, cold or outside elements; PPE required while in manufacturing areas.

The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pass a pre-employment drug screen is required
