ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

$78,000 - $93,000, DOE

PROJECT LOCATION

Brooklyn Park, MN with occasional travel to Faribault, MN, and/or Burnsville, MN

JOB SUMMARY

As an Electrical Engineer in Faribault/Brooklyn Park, MN, you will: create and update drawings using AutoCAD Electrical; follow applicable electrical engineering standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A) to ensure safety and compliance; source various electrical components; find and retrieve documents within EPICOR; collaborate with colleagues to advance project tasks; have proficiency with standard equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical required

A minimum of two years of previous engineering experience required

Knowledge of requirements from the National Electrical Code and derivative standards and codes for grid-connected systems preferred

Familiarity with renewable energy systems, including inverter and battery-based systems, preferred

Proficiency with other electrical design software, such as EPLAN or Solidworks Electrical, a plus
