Area Candidates must have experience working with slate, zinc, copper, architectural sheet metal, and other various materials. Will work on slate tile replacement, cutting and installs, architectural metals, flashing, standing seam, and other differing architectural designs. Will be bending metal pieces in breaks, drip edges, hips, ridge caps, valleys, pans, saddles etc. Will be performing work using Slate, Copper, Zinc and Membrane and potential for various metal siding work as well. Will work on steeply pitched roofs mainly on historical buildings. Must have at least 5+ years in trade. Experience with PVC and EPDM are a plus. Must be comfortable working from heights while being harnessed. Must be in good physical shape and be able to lift and carry materials when needed on jobs. Must be comfortable and proficient setting up ropes and harness properly. Ability to work 40+hour weeks, usually 7-3 Monday-Friday. Must possess OSHA-10 as a requirement. (WE OFFER FREE OSHA-10 TRAINING IF NEEDED.) Candidate should have own basic slate and sheet metal tools (Bar, hammer, cutters. Must have valid driver's license and own reliable transportation to get to and from jobs on time. Should be able to stage ladders, pump jacks, picks, A-brackets and planks.
