Concrete Finisher Responsibilities Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints. Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure proper density. Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it. Inspect finished concrete work for quality and adherence to specifications, making necessary adjustments. Essential Skills 1+ year of professional concrete experience Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings Expertise in various carpentry techniques and tools Strong problem-solving and math skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with hand and power tools Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
