Maintenance Electrician and Maintenance Mechanic Openings Job Description Aerotek is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to work in a manufacturing environment in Columbia. SC. You will utilize your electrical and mechanical expertise to build controls, read schematics, and hook up drives. Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical schematics. Hook up and troubleshoot AC, DC, and servo drives/motors. Build and maintain control systems, including PLC and HMI. Work with closed-loop control systems and CNC controls. Perform mechanical tasks including drilling, grinding, and operating lathes and mills. Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems. Utilize tools such as VOM, oscilloscope, IR temperature probe, multimeter, megger, and amperage clamp meter. Electrical Maintenance Details: Location : Sumter, SC Pay : $34/hr Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm Contract : 3 month Contract-to-Hire Mechanical Maintenance Details: Location : Sumter, SC Pay : $25/hr Schedule : 223 Schedule | 7pm - 7am Contract : Direct Placement Additional Skills & Qualifications Preference for candidates with a metal industry background . Experience in the food industry may be considered. 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred. Hydraulic and pneumatic experience, with paint line experience as a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills and self-reliance in a largely independent role. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
