Welder Job Description We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team specializing in the custom fabrication of pressure vessels for various industries and applications. This role involves welding and grinding tasks, utilizing prints to fit and weld different materials using processes such as MIG, TIG, and Flux. Welders will work predominantly on first shift with flexible hours. Responsibilities Perform custom welding of pressure vessels using MIG, TIG, and Flux welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints to fit and fabricate tanks according to specifications. Grind welds and prepare materials for welding. Ensure quality control and precision in fabrication processes. Comfortably work at heights on large tanks and vessels. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Flux welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Minimum of 2 years of welding experience or a two-year degree in welding or fabrication. Comfortable working at heights. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with welding and fabricating pressure vessels. Familiarity with multiple welding processes and materials. Work Environment Our facility specializes in stainless and high alloy fabrications, focusing on welding and fabrication of various tanks and pressure vessels using materials such as Hastelloy, Inconel, AL6XN, and Titanium. The work environment can be loud due to grinding activities, requiring hearing protection. It is well ventilated, but welders may need to work inside large tank shells. The team has grown significantly, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture, especially under new leadership. We operate with flexibility and camaraderie on the first shift.
