Shifts:

1st Shift - 6a-3p

2nd Shift - 2:45p - 12:45a

Pay:

$16/hr with a .50 cent shift premium for 2nd shift

Job Summary:

The General Laborer will be responsible for banding steel tubing, ensuring proper handling and packaging, and assisting on the production line as needed. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform steel tubing banding, ensuring secure and proper bundling for storage and shipment.

Operate banding equipment and tools safely and effectively.

Assist in loading and unloading materials, parts, or products onto pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.

Support production line operations by handling materials, and performing quality checks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing excess materials and debris.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in steel tubing banding preferred but open to training the right candidate

Perform physical tasks such as reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting, bending, and twisting throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

Familiarity with hand tools and banding equipment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
