Your new role Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Design Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing low-voltage systems for commercial and residential projects, including structured cabling, AV, security, access control, and smart building technologies. Key Responsibilities Design and engineer low-voltage systems including data/voice cabling, AV, CCTV, access control, and building automation. Create detailed design documentation including floor plans, riser diagrams, device layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit. Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design decisions. Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and client requirements. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and best practices. Support the project team during the construction and commissioning phases. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in low voltage system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Familiarity with NEC codes. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications RCDD, CTS, or other relevant certifications. Experience with smart building platforms and IoT technologies. Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other sustainability frameworks.
