Production Operator Job Description The role requires working in a foundry brake facility, ensuring all specifications are met. The production operator will perform final inspections at the end of the machine line, checking each brake disc for defects such as flash, scratches, dents, or chips. This includes spot checks using micrometers and calipers to verify that products meet quality standards. Once inspected and approved, parts will be prepared for delivery. Responsibilities Inspect each brake disc for defects such as flash, scratches, dents, or chips. Perform spot checks with micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications are met. Load inspected parts for delivery and ensure boxes are filled and labeled correctly. Manage the inspection and loading of 25-30 parts per hour. Be flexible with work shifts, primarily covering 2nd and 3rd shifts. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Production/Machine Operator role. Consistent job tenure without dismissals. Flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of experience in blueprint reading. 1+ year in the automotive industry. 1+ year of experience working 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
