Express Employment of Brighton is supporting a leading provider in designing, engineering, and fabricating cutting-edge fluid delivery systems for marine and naval applications. Job Description: As an Electrical Technician in our Field Service team, you'll play a crucial role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of our innovative fluid delivery systems. From wiring controls and automation panels to on-site troubleshooting and repairs, your work will directly impact the success of our projects. Day shift hours: 7:30am to 4pm. Monday-Friday, OT as Needed Paying $23-26/hr Responsibilities: Electrically wire fluid delivery systems according to design parameters. Assist in pre-delivery testing of systems to ensure optimal performance. Participate in the commissioning and operation of newly delivered systems. Aid in developing electrical one-line diagrams for new systems. Service, troubleshoot, and repair products in the field, focusing on electronic systems. Lead on-site work, manage project timelines, and prioritize tasks effectively. Assist in preparing work estimates for project planning. Instrument systems, record test data, and ensure compliance with specifications. Inspect parts for conformance to specifications. Conduct field inspections of failed parts, documenting findings to prevent future incidents. Maintain detailed records of daily activities. Provide input for updates to service manuals and bulletins. Offer technical assistance to fellow service personnel. Analyze technical data to enhance system performance. Undertake special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Two years of electrical or technical trade school and two years of field service experience with electrical troubleshooting; or five years of field service experience. Basic understanding and practical experience with electrical wiring. U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract involvement. Fundamental knowledge of electronics and ability to read blueprints and electronic schematics.
