Construction Electrical Engineer - Power Infrastructure Projects (Bus Charging)

New York City or Troy, NY - Hybrid Work Option

$150,000-$175,000K DOE + Bonus up to $10K + Medical + Dental + Generous PTO + 401(k) + Career Progression Opportunities.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a construction mindset to take ownership of major infrastructure projects supporting New York's transition to electric bus fleets.

This is a hands-on construction engineering role focused on utility coordination, power distribution design, and construction delivery.

As part of the construction team, you'll play a pivotal role throughout the project lifecycle-from early-stage design coordination through to fieldwork, site inspections, and construction administration. You'll liaise directly with utility companies, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

The Role:

Lead power distribution system design and oversee its integration into construction plans

Coordinate with contractors and utility providers (e.g. Con Edison, National Grid)

Review and manage construction documentation including RFIs and submittals

The Person:

Electrical power design and construction-related experience

Familiarity with construction documentation and site coordination

Utility experience (Con Edison or equivalent) preferred
