Sheet Metal Mechanic - HVAC Ductwork | Driftwood, TX

Compensation: Based on Experience

Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring a Sheet Metal Mechanic in Driftwood, TX with 1-2 years of experience working with HVAC ductwork. The selected tradesperson will assist with material handling, duct hanging, and will be required to work on ladders. Must be dependable and bring a full set of basic duct tools.

Job Duties:

• Assist in the installation and hanging of HVAC sheet metal ductwork

• Move and stage duct materials on-site

• Perform work safely and accurately while on ladders

• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, crimp, and assemble ductwork

• Follow instructions from the lead mechanic or site supervisor

Required Tools:

• Aviation snips

• Crimpers

• Sheet metal hammer

• Measuring tape

• Screwdrivers

• Hand seamers

• Cordless drill

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of HVAC sheet metal experience

• Must be able to safely use ladders and lift materials

• Bring all required hand tools and wear full PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety vest, glasses, boots)

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
