Pipe Welder - Shop Work | High Point, NC (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: High Point, North Carolina

Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire

Compensation: Based on Experience

Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring Pipe Welders for a shop-based, temp-to-hire position in High Point, NC. This opportunity is ideal for welders with at least 3 years of experience or those recently out of welding school looking to gain hands-on experience in a controlled environment. You'll be working with stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel. Welding certifications are not required, but they are considered a plus.

Work Environment:

In-shop only - no field work required
Clean, structured environment with long-term potential

Job Duties:

Weld and assemble piping using stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel
Follow shop drawings, specifications, and welding procedures
Operate welding equipment safely and accurately
Inspect welds for structural soundness and quality
Collaborate with shop team and supervisors to meet production goals

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of welding experience OR recent graduate from a welding trade school
Experience welding various metals (stainless, carbon, copper)
Must bring basic hand tools and wear full PPE
Welding certifications not required, but preferred
Reliable transportation and strong attention to detail
