Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced and motivated, full-time licensed Electrician!

Skills, Knowledge, and Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems at new construction job sites and remodel projects.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to interpret building plans to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Ability to self-manage and troubleshoot independently on the job site.
• Leads compliance with OSHA and other company safety standards.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, and wiring schematics.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.

Journeyman Electrician Requirements:

• Relevant hands-on 3 years experience
• Maintain and hold a valid Journeyman's Electrician License
• Possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use a wide variety of construction tools and techniques.
• Possess personal hand tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts)

Pay Range: $25-$40/ per hour, based on experience.
