HVAC Residential Service Technician

This position performs a variety of functions that encompass the HVAC service Department. The purpose of the Residential HVAC Service Technician is to carry out service calls by using advanced knowledge to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace HVAC systems. Work involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and presenting recommendations to the customers, making repairs, installing equipment and documenting records from each service order.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required:

• Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to pass background check.
• Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration cycles
• Ability to lead and work on a team
• Must be able to perform work duties satisfactorily.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items and work from heights or small spaces.
• Knowledge and ability to meet local HVAC codes

Requirements:

• Type II EPA Certification or EPA Universal
• Driver's License and Insurable driving record
• 3 or more years' of experience
• Possess basic hand tools

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Based on demand, hours may vary.

Pay Range: $21 - $35 / per hour
