Industrial Painter Job DescriptionPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying appropriate treatments to ensure proper paint adhesion.Operate and maintain industrial painting equipment such as spray gun and paint brushes to apply primers, sealers, and topcoats to metal and other surfaces.Mix and match paint colors and finishes according to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.Inspect painted surfaces for quality, uniformity, and coverage, making touch-ups or corrections as needed.Apply protective coatings to surfaces to prevent corrosion, wear, and environmental damage.Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain clean and organized work areas, and properly store paints, solvents, and tools.Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 1+ years of industrial painting experience is preferred.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret work orders, related to painting specifications and surface preparation. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
