Industrial HVAC Technician Location: Muscle Shoals, AL About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in industrial settings. The ideal candidate has expertise in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and ventilation units. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical failures in HVAC systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry codes, and company standards. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and facility managers to optimize climate control solutions. Maintain detailed service records and document repairs and installations. Operate tools and testing equipment, including gauges, multimeters, and refrigerant recovery systems. Respond promptly to emergency HVAC service requests and breakdowns. Qualifications: Certificate or degree in HVAC Technology, Welding, or a related field. [X] years of experience in industrial HVAC maintenance and repair. Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and industry best practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification (preferred).
