JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
This engineering role assumes the responsibility of working within the Design department to design commercial and industrial concrete and steel projects. Candidate will work directly with Structural project managers to develop complete structural design documents, answer RFI's, coordinate submittal reviews, and edit specifications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce complete construction documents (drawings + specifications) for Design Build projects
Design of varying structural systems including but not limited to concrete, masonry, wood, and steel for a wide range of building typologies with a focus on Industrial concrete tilt-wall and steel systems
Reverse-Engineering capabilities to assist with building and selective demolition
Knowledgeable of up-to-date construction methodologies and applicable building codes
Mentor and supervise upcoming young professionals pursuing EIT/PE/SE within the company
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 6+ years relevant structural engineering design experience
Skills & Knowledge: Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, RAM, RISA 3D, preparation of specifications, submittal / shop drawing review, field observations / inspections
License: S.E. in Georgia, with capability of reciprocity to other states
