Seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic for a high growth food manufacturing company in the Norwood, MA area.
The Maintenance Mechanic would be responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair or complex electro-mechanical equipment in a food manufacturing environment. Experience with Food Manufacturing is a requirement.

- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday) Great differential!
- Priority 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday) Great differential!
- Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Work with OEMs and manufacturers to maintain and improve machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Mentor junior mechanics and apprentices in troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed (MIG, TIG, Stick welding).
- Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities and identify trends for process improvements.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.
