The role is entirely field based, requiring the candidate to be onsite full-time, with work hours typically starting between 6:45 and 7:00 AM and ending around 5:00 PM. The position may also involve occasional support for another solar farm in Earth, Texas, accounting for approximately 5-10% of the time. The expected workload ranges from 50 to 60 hours per week, with some Saturday work possible. The candidate will be provided with a site vehicle for travel between the field and office trailers.

On a typical day, Construction Supervisor II will begin with a planning meeting and then proceed to the field to monitor the installation of substations and transformers, conduct inspections, and communicate progress with the project team. The role does not involve budgeting responsibilities, as those are handled by the superintendent. The candidate will work closely with contractors and subcontractors, as well as with the onsite construction manager, two other inspectors, and the regional superintendent. The role will involve regular interaction with them and external vendors.

Familiarity with the hazards associated with high voltage environments is critical, as the role involves working in potentially dangerous field conditions.

Additionally, a valid driver's license is required, as the position includes travel between field sites using company-provided vehicles.

Overall, the ideal candidate is someone with a solid, consistent work history, practical field expertise, and a readiness to commit to the full duration of the project, which is expected to span three to five years
