The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and programs, overseeing all aspects to ensure successful execution. This role involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of projects and programs. The Project Manager will prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects and programs. A bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or a related area are required. The ideal candidate is familiar with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Creativity and latitude are expected, as the role involves leading and directing the work of others and typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete projects and programs by overseeing all aspects.
  • Set deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members.
  • Monitor and summarize the progress of projects and programs.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
  • Lead and direct the work of others with creativity and latitude.
  • Ensure cross-functional stakeholder alignment for assigned programmatic design changes.
  • Evaluate the technical readiness of changes and communicate with leadership.
  • Maintain PCM tools for tracking programs effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in design change management and project management.
  • 5-7 years of experience in construction engineering with a relevant degree.
  • Proficiency in Smart Sheets and Microsoft Office.
  • Engineering degree and professional engineering license.
  • Project management certification, PMP, or PE.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Experience with large construction projects, particularly data centers.
  • Program management experience.
  • Open to candidates with construction management experience.

Work Environment

The work environment offers a unique and challenging experience within a smaller global team managing programmatic design change management. The team is uniquely positioned within design engineering, interacting broadly with multiple stakeholder groups. The role involves real-time innovation with infrastructure projects, keeping the company at the forefront of technology. The team operates in regions such as APAC and EMEA, with responsibilities including evaluating technical readiness and ensuring stakeholder alignment. Daily interaction includes meetings with team members, leadership communication, and general maintenance of PCM tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr.
