Job Description
- Manage a team of 4 Estimators.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Read, understand, and document RFI/RFP.
- Bid on multiple projects throughout the year.
- Solicit bids from subcontractors.
- Prepare accurate estimates, quantity and material take-offs, value engineering, and schedules.
- Experience in commercial construction projects ranging from $1 to $30 million.
- Experience managing a team of estimators.
- Proficiency in bidding and documentation for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong client interaction and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of RFI and RFP processes.
- Active clearance or ability to obtain clearance is a plus.
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of working on Fridays if a bid is due. The company promotes a laid-back atmosphere and is family-run. Currently, they are supporting 10 projects with a light backlog. The company has been operating since the 1950s and focuses solely on local projects. Employees enjoy every Friday off unless a bid is due, highlighting a balanced work-life culture.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $62.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
