Under supervision, applies technical professional proficiency to the solution of architectural problems and the coordination of related project activities. The position also supports BD and presentation efforts in securing and advancing new projects.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Perform site and field work including site investigations, existing facility inventory and field measured documentation.
  • Develop designs and sketches into Revit-based construction documents.
  • Provide Sr. Architects / Project Managers with status reports of progress on architectural documents.
  • Complete assignments efficiently and in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned.
  • Ability to maintain and coordinate project BIM model and strong knowledge in construction document standards and conventions.
  • Working knowledge of building codes.
  • Understanding of building materials and construction methods.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
  • Ability to analyze information and propose effective solutions on own initiative.
  • Utilizes Sketch-Up and advanced presentation software to create renderings and animations.
  • Performs such other duties as the Supervisor determine necessary to support the Architecture Practice.

What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.
  • Minimum 35+ years of relevant work experience to include all phases of architectural drafting, detailing, and assisting with the coordination of consultants.
  • The position requires expertise of BIM/Revit and Autocad.
  • Candidate must be in process of taking and passing the Architect Registration Exam (ARE).
  • LEED AP is a plus.
