We are looking for a dependable and experienced Asphalt Paving Roller Operator to join our paving crew. If you take pride in delivering smooth, high-quality finishes and working as part of a team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate steel drum and/or pneumatic rollers to compact asphalt to proper density and finish
Monitor mat temperature and compaction patterns for optimal results
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Work closely with paver and ground crew to ensure smooth operations
Follow all safety guidelines and project specifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating paving rollers
Knowledge of compaction techniques and asphalt paving processes
Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and safety
Must pass drug screening and background check
