Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform all maintenance and repair activities on High and Heavy Equipment
  • Install attachments as required by customer
  • Drive wheeled machines from discharge or parking location to work areas
  • Complete required paperwork/programs for the repair or parts installation on all types of equipment and machinery.
  • Adhere to established quality, environmental, and safety standards

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Understanding of H&H machine repair and attachment installation, (hydraulics, electrical, painting, bodywork)
  • Ability to update software in H&H machines, adjusting pressures, etc. using multiple digital platforms
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow procedures with minimal supervision, blueprints, technical drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics
  • Proficiently use hand and power tools-Welders, grinders, torches, etc.

You're an experienced (3-5 years') high & heavy mechanic with proficiency using hand and power tools.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc. This position will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers.

At Wallenius Wilhelmsen and across our businesses, salaries are determined by position, level, location, and similar factors. The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans.
