Maintenance Mechanic - Level 1

As a Maintenance Mechanic Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery in our Danville, KY location within the Industrial Automation (IA) Strategic Business Group.

You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Danville, KY location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will have an impact on the operational efficiency and reliability of our equipment to ensure smooth production processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment, including lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs
• Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient operations
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or repair of industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

WE VALUE

• Technical certification in maintenance, blueprint reading, electrical schematics or a related field
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
