Electrical CAD Technician

In this role, you'll work closely with experienced detailers, designers, and engineers, providing crucial support in developing precise computer-aided drafting (CAD) solutions. Must have mastered basic commands of Autodesk Autocad or Bentley Microstation.

responsibilities:

• Revisit existing drawings and preparing drawings of basic components from explicit verbal or written instructions or detailed sketches.
  
  
• Successfully plots drawings;
  
  
• Learns and follows company and client drafting standards and procedures
  
  
• Learns the practices of a selected discipline.
  
  
• Interpersonal, communication and time management skills, as well as demonstrate the ability to function in a team environment
  
  
• Apply client standards for drafting activities.
  
  
• Work with vector and raster drawing files primarily in Autocad and Microstation.
  
  
• Maintain current knowledge of design and drafting procedures.
  
  
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for engineering review.
  
  
• Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects.
