High Voltage Electrical Inspector
Location: Becker, Minnesota

Type: Contract
Compensation: $60 - $62 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is currently seeking a High Voltage Electrical Inspector on a 12 month contract located in Becker, MN.

High Voltage Electrical Inspector Responsibilities:
  • Construction and commissioning of high voltage substations associated with the solar project.
  • Involved in the communication and planning for installation and commissioning of the entire substation. There are coordination meetings with transmission installation and with substation construction.
  • Work in the office doing research, planning and review of execution plans, lack of takeout plans, commissioning plans, etc.
  • Will also be in the field verifying that the contractors are installing and executing per plan.

High Voltage Electrical Inspector Requirements:
  • Previous knowledge of high voltage electricity, substations, transmission lines and their associated components.
  • 5-7 years of Substation construction and commissioning experience with high voltage energy installations.
  • Equipment installations and the theoretical understanding how switching and that kind of stuff works.
  • Experience in the installation and the commissioning of high voltage sub yards with that five plus years in the supervisory level experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
